Return Policy
Your business is important to us, which is why we want to make sure that you receive exactly what you need from Smartronix. To fulfill this, we have made the return policy easy and convenient. All you have to do is give us a call and we will make arrangements for you to return the product, so we can correct the problem or get you what you need as quickly as possible.

We only provide refunds for products purchased directly from us. If you have purchased our products from a reseller, you should deal with the reseller directly.

Just remember, all customer return requests must be authorized prior to return.
Return requests must be received within 30 days of the item’s original shipping date.
Return Procedure
Returns will be accepted in the following cases:

1.  Damaged/Defective Products or Incorrect Item: Contact Smartronix to arrange for a replacement of your purchase. We will cover shipping charges for the return of the damaged/defective or incorrect unit and its replacement; provided the return item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, etc, where applicable.
 
2.  Factory Sealed Returns: Unopened products (those in which the Smartronix seal remain intact) may be returned for credit of the actual purchase price and taxes. Shipping and handling fees will not be credited. This policy does not apply to custom made products.

Rules & Restrictions
Returns will be accepted in the following cases:

1.  All returns must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
 
2.  Returns must be requested within thirty (30) days of the original receipt of the product(s).
 
3.  Any products returned fifteen (15) days or more after issuance of the RMA number shall be refused and returned to the customer via freight to the cost of the customer.
 
4.  Some products may be assessed a 20% restocking fee plus the shipping charges.
 
5.  Opened products cannot be returned for refund or credit.
 
6.  Additional restrictions may apply, please contact a Smartronix representative for more information.
 
7.  All products will be inspected upon return. Any returns which do not meet the conditions defined herein will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
 
8.  Credit (in the same form of original payment) or replacement will be issued within thirty (30) days of acceptance of the returned product.
 
9.  Smartronix reserves the right to change this policy at any time. The return policy is implemented at our discretion. We can refuse to issue credit to anyone who does not meet our conditions.
 
10.  All products must be returned in like-new condition, in original boxes (whenever possible), and with all the paperwork, parts and accessories, including warranties.
 

Shipping Instructions
1.  Please contact Products Customer Service at (301) 373-6000 or at sales@smartronix.com to obtain an RMA number and shipping instructions.
 
2.  Ship your return, prepaid and insured for the full purchase price by a carrier the offers package tracking, i.e. Fed Ex, UPS or USPS. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
